The Maxel Oceanic Series of reels are built for serious big-game anglers who demand power, precision, and durability. Crafted from aircraft-grade bar stock aluminum and precision-machined for maximum strength and minimal weight, these reels are engineered to handle the heaviest loads from the toughest fish. The rigid one-piece frame ensures uncompromising stability, while the quick-shift two-speed gearing system provides effortless transitions between high-speed retrieval and powerful cranking. Equipped with super-smooth carbon fibre drag systems, these reels deliver consistent control throughout the fight. Each model features cold-forged aluminum spools, heat-treated stainless steel gears, and nine corrosion-resistant stainless steel ball bearings for seamless performance.
