The Orvis Hydros fly reel builds on a proven design with thoughtful refinements for improved performance. By removing excess material, the reel is now lighter while the stiffened narrow spool helps prevent line stacking. The ergonomically improved drag knob offers better grip and control, and an enhanced seal protects the clutch bearing in the drag system. A radiused reel foot protects against leader kinks. The powerful sealed drag system features carbon and stainless steel discs with zero start-up inertia. Finished in matte anodised black with silver or matte silver with charcoal accents, the Hydros balances perfectly with lighter rods while maintaining fast retrieval and low line memory.
