The Shout Lance is a long jig designed with a straightforward spear-like action, focusing on vertical thrust and stall rather than wide horizontal darts. Its movement mimics the fleeing behaviour of young sand lances, creating a natural presentation that draws strikes. After stalling, it offers a “meal time” pause, sometimes appearing almost stationary during the fall without rolling, which can trigger bites from wary fish. The balanced rise, fall, and stall action works effectively in both slow-pitch and fast-pitch jigging styles, making it a versatile lure for a wide range of targets.
