The Simms Guide Short is designed for summer fishing and wet-wading conditions, combining mobility with durable performance. Constructed from a quick-drying nylon–spandex blend, the fabric sheds water, stretches with movement, and provides sun protection. The design includes a fixed waistband with reinforced belt loops, a shank front closure, and an interior drawcord for a secure fit when wet wading. Storage features include two front hand pockets, two rear pockets with a zippered right pocket for valuables, and a laser-cut zippered thigh pocket, all with mesh-lined pocket bags for rapid drainage. A gusseted crotch with drain holes and a bias-cut back yoke panel enhance flexibility, and the shorts feature a 10-inch inseam.
