The Simms Tailwind Rod & Reel Vault is a travel-ready storage case designed to protect and organise rods, reels, and essential gear during transport. Constructed from compression-molded 900D ballistic polyester, it offers durable protection and long-term reliability. The clamshell main compartment opens via a YKK #10 zipper and features adjustable hook-and-loop dividers for customisable organisation. The lid includes two mesh accessory pockets, while a hidden compartment provides space for items such as clothing or footwear. The case accommodates multiple four-piece rods up to 9 ft (about 2.74 m) in length and includes a removable shoulder harness for backpack-style carry. Approximate dimensions are 83.8 × 15.2 × 22.9 cm, with a capacity of about 20 litres and a weight of roughly 2.45 kg.
