About
The Smith Super Surger is an upgraded version of the original Surger, designed for high-speed retrievals and long-distance casting when targeting schooling fish like yellowtail and horse mackerel. With a halved, low centre of gravity weight, it offers excellent surface-tracing stability and catch efficiency even with a simple retrieval. The larger hook eye fits a #6 split ring, enabling use with up to #1/0 hooks. It’s also highly effective for dolphinfish and bonito. For best results, reel just below the surface with occasional pops to trigger strikes.
